Barton Fink & Until the End of the World

fink.jpg (9238 bytes) We went to a really cool movie theater and saw the new Coen Brother’s film, "Barton Fink." The place was great. It was the only place in town playing the movie without it having been dubbed. It was on the 5th floor of a building which you had to go through two courtyards to get to, and the seats were made of brick with cushions on them. There were 20 minutes of interesting ads before the actual movie (maybe 20 minutes is a slight exaggeration).

We wanted to see the new Wim Wenders film, too, but of course it was in German. It looks really cool, though, with great music, and we almost went anyway, but it was the last night and we didn’t have enough money (12 DM, and we had about 30 between us, but we needed food) or enough time (the show is 20.45 – 0.15 including ads, and our train was going to leave at 0.41!). So, we’ll have to see it in English sometime.
