Sto Zvirat

I went with Indridi to see Sto Zvirat ("100 Animals"), the closest thing Czechoslovakia has to ska music. They were kind of goofy, but pretty good. The club was a weird scene – the looks, dress and behavior of all the kids reminded me of a high school dance. Afterwards, a reggae band played, the name of which I don’t know. They were very much white boys, but the music was good. Then we went to the basement club at 12 Celetna (from last Saturday). A girl who was friends with the evolution-dude recognized us and seemed surprised. I managed to be in the dance-room long enough to dance for a while, despite the smoke and zero ventilation, but by the time I got up the courage to go ask them to play Jane’s Addiction, they said, "No," packed up, and left! (It was only 2:15!)
