We went to see an exhibit of Alberto Giacometti at the Musee dart Moderne de la ville de Paris. The exhibit was great (and big, of course) and I didnt know Giacometti very well, so it was neat because I didnt know what to expect. A lot of it was sculpture. Most of it, actually. Once again, I think this was another example of an exhibit that was a bit too extensive. I dont know why people think that an exhibit has to be everything you can possibly get your hands on by a certain artist. |
From an article in Newsweek on the exhibit. Its a little weird in this flat, black & white xerox, but its also a little strange in life size, color metal! (Most likely, it was quite large). |
