A plea to Camper van Beethoven

From a letter that Dan and I wrote (but didn't send) to the band, Camper van Beethoven:

Dear Campers,

Please reform yourselves. We are in Prague and reduced to writing on bread wrapping. You can imagine the implications for the availability of good music. Luckily we have just thought of the title for your next album: 'Periscope Microphone Glass.' We're sorry to hear about Rough Trade.

Also, upon reforming, you'll probably want to do a full European tour, as soon as possible. Prague has the biggest open air stadium in the world (and some damn good pastries, too - although we've been hard pressed to find a decent piece of key lime pie). If you choose the non-stadium route, there's plenty of funky clubs (and still lots o' pastry).

If you played 'Good guys and bad guys' in Prague, they would love it, though they couldn't understand the words anyway!

    Love,
Rachel & Daniel

P.S.Bring vegetables. Thanks
